Education is more than a milestone — it is a journey that shapes potential, unlocks opportunity, and transforms lives. Under Bidvest Prestige, the Bidvest Group 2025 Bursary Scheme continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to supporting learners at every stage of that journey.
In 2025, the bursary scheme assisted over 460 beneficiaries across all provinces and regions, spanning from primary school through to tertiary education. This comprehensive approach recognises that meaningful change is built over time and that early support lays the foundation for sustained academic success.
Today, we proudly celebrate a significant achievement within the scheme: over 31 bursary recipients have successfully matriculated. This milestone reflects years of perseverance, support, and belief — not only from the students themselves, but from the families and communities who continue to stand behind them.
Today was also deeply meaningful on a personal level, as we had the opportunity to meet with three of the 20 Johannesburg-based families whose children were considered and are entering an exciting new chapter. These students are currently registered in tertiary institutions and have begun their first year of study, marking a critical transition into higher education.
What sets the Bidvest Group bursary scheme apart is its long-term commitment. Bidvest will continue to fully support these students by funding their tuition fees throughout their studies, allowing them to focus on growth, learning, and future career aspirations without the burden of financial uncertainty.
