Making community radio a reality

Bidvest Prestige KwaZulu-Natal sponsored ablution facilities for three different fundraising events in the region including the aQuellé Midmar Mile, the Comrades Marathon and the Amashova Durban Cycle Race.
For many years, Bidvest Prestige has supported Hospice in various regions across the country through cleaning services and financial donations.
Bidvest Prestige assists the local PMOW initiative by paying three helpers who assist in the kitchen, allowing more meals to be produced and distributed to the community.
We assisted the organisation with a R50 000 donation that went toward buying 25 comfortable single beds and groceries for the Ubuhle Be Mpumelelo Old Age Home in Mpumalanga while also providing sanitary towels for local learners.
Funding from Bidvest Prestige is helping more learners from across the country complete the Bronze-level programme and contribute to building a great South Africa.
Bidvest Prestige Rustenburg was part of the Rally to Read initiative which supplied books, educational toys and balls to deserving rural schools in the Rustenburg area.
Bidvest Prestige East Rand visited the centre in Tembisa for Mandela Day, armed with donations of clothing, cleaning material and toilet paper. The regional office also sponsors the salary of the cleaner at the centre on weekdays.
CANSA Relay for Life Bidvest Prestige provided 11 cleaning staff and three operations managers to assist at the event in Polokwane. A donation of toilet paper, refuse bags and cleaning chemicals was also made.
